Robert Falkner

Integrative Psychotherapist

My aim is to co-create a therapeutic environment of curiosity, honesty and care, where you can become more aware of your habitual patterns and learn to address them in more creative ways through a relational and flexible approach. I am invested in your taking ownership of the therapy, to shift the emphasis from external ‘expertise’ towards your own authority and integration.

I am an Integrative Psychotherapist, working with couples, adults and adolescents in both short and long-term capacity. Recently I undertook further couples training in RLT (Relational Life Training) with Blue Door colleagues, an effective model for working with couples and individuals with its grounding in systemic and Family Systems modalities.

Prior to my work as a therapist I had 10 years of working with vulnerable young people and their families across London in a variety of settings including the NHS, prisons, in the community and in private practice. I also participate in annual Mens’ Groups where I explore issues affecting masculinity and relationship, and have extensive experience in the themes of separation, risk taking, belonging and growth.
