Lesley Kollikho

Integrative Psychotherapist

I practise using an integrative approach based on the combined principles of Psychodynamic, Person-centred and Cognitive/Behavioural therapies. I believe that the most healing factor in therapy is the therapeutic relationship and I aim to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment for someone to explore their inner world, emotions, and any difficulties that they might be experiencing. I can facilitate different types of therapy, from reflective to creative, and work with the client to develop a therapeutic approach that works for them and their needs.

I have worked extensively with young people and their families for over 10 years, firstly as an Early year’s teacher and later as a psychotherapist. I have worked therapeutically with adults in settings including psychiatric wards and private practice.

I have a particular interest in eating disorders and body image and I am involved in the education, promotion and training of professionals in these areas. I am also developing  group work to help people to develop healthier relationships with their eating and their  bodies.
